Returning for its third year, the statewide RI Craft Beer Week will take place March 1-10.

A collection of events featuring special beer releases, food pairings, live music, games and entertainment awaits craft beer enthusiasts at brewery taprooms and select venues across Rhode Island. Brewery-goers that make a point of stamping their RI Brewery Passport app – after purchasing their pint – will earn double stamps throughout RI Craft Beer Week toward “Rhode Traveler” digital badges and collectible prizes like a Solo Cup-style pint glass, official RI Brewers Guild beanie and a “mystery prize” mailed to qualified winners. All passport user stamps will reset on March 1, the first day of RI Craft Beer Week. New this passport cycle will be the ability to earn a stamp with every brewery visit, not just the first visit.

“RI Craft Beer Week heightens attention on both unique and recurring programming at Rhode Island brewery taprooms,” said Nils Weldy, Executive Director of the Rhode Island Brewers Guild. “There’s long-lasting value to discovering a run club, weekly trivia night, musician or new favorite food truck as a result of visiting your local brewery. Taprooms are multi-generation community hubs and RI Craft Beer Week is a purposeful gateway to finding a new community,” Weldy continued.

“We attract enthusiasts of all kinds – homebrewers, Jeep drivers and, of course, dog lovers,” said Mark Papi, owner and head brewer, Six Pack Brewing in Bristol. “If a new customer finds out about Six Pack through RI Craft Beer Week and joins our Mug Club or one of our regular meet ups, that’s a big win for us,” continued Papi.
