The Newport Laxfest Lacrosse Tournament will be returning to Aquidneck Island this month.

Scheduled for July 13th and 14th on four fields at St. George’s in Middletown, there will be over 20 collegiate and above teams made up of current and former pro players playing in four divisions – Mens Open 18+, Masters 30+, Grand Masters 45+, and Womens Open 18+.

“In the event some former or current lacrosse players reside in Newport, we have some free agents at three different age categories, open (Collegiate plus), Masters (30+) and Grand-masters (45+),” Peter Schmitz, partner of Newport Laxfest told What’sUpnewp.

In 2018, Black Dog were Mens Open champions, THC (The Hot Club) were Masters champions, and Atlantic Sportswear GM were Grand Masters champions.
