The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Newport County will welcome Oliver Inteeworn, the newly appointed executive director of Newport Classical, as its featured guest at the next Arts Around the Fire networking event on Wednesday, March 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sardella’s Restaurant, 30 Memorial Blvd. West.

Inteeworn comes to Newport Classical from the American Symphony Orchestra, where he served as executive director. At Newport Classical, he hopes to increase the organization’s national profile while deepening its engagement with the local community.

The monthly event brings together artists, writers, performers and arts supporters to discuss events affecting the cultural community and learn about new creative endeavors. It is free and open to the public, with no reservations required.
