The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority announced Sunday afternoon that all four of its bridges will close ahead of the blizzard.

In accordance with Executive Order 26-2, issued by Governor Daniel J. McKee, the Newport Pell Bridge, Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge, Mount Hope Bridge, and Sakonnet River Bridge will be closed to commercial traffic at 5 p.m. today and to all traffic at 7 p.m. today. Emergency vehicles will be allowed to cross the bridges.

The RITBA customer service center will be closed on Monday, February 23. Online services will be available at ezpassritba.com.
