Registration is now open for Newport Little League’s spring 2026 youth baseball, softball and T-ball season.

The league serves children ages 4 to 12 in Newport and neighboring communities, with divisions tailored to different age groups and skill levels.

T-ball is co-ed for ages 4 to 6. Softball divisions for girls include coach pitch for ages 6 to 8, minors for ages 9 to 10 and majors for ages 11 to 12. Baseball divisions for boys and girls follow the same age breakdowns.

Registration fees are $70 for the first player and $40 for each additional sibling, with a family cap of $140. Financial assistance is available, and the league encourages families to reach out for support.

Newport Little League is also seeking volunteer coaches for the upcoming season. Parents who sign up to coach will receive a free registration credit and a complimentary league hoodie. Interested volunteers can contact the league by email to receive a registration coupon code.

Families can register online at newportlittleleague.org. The league said it will soon announce dates for preseason winter clinics, player evaluations and the 2026 opening day celebration.

Newport Little League is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe, fun and competitive environment for Newport’s youth through baseball and softball.
