The city has issued neighborhood parking bans for The Point and Historic Hill this week as crews continue snow removal operations following last week’s storm.
Residents of The Point must move their vehicles to off-street parking Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Historic Hill ban takes effect Wednesday during the same hours.
Streets will be closed while work takes place, and vehicles left on affected roads will be towed, according to the city.
Impacted residents can park for free at any city public parking lot, as well as on-street metered and unmetered spaces, including downtown and Broadway.
The Point streets affected Tuesday include Washington Street, Second Street, Third Street, Chase Street, Bayside Avenue, Marsh Street, Willow Street, Walnut Street, Cherry Street, Chestnut Street, Pine Street, Battery Street, Sycamore Street and others.
Historic Hill streets affected Wednesday include Spring Street from Memorial Boulevard to Touro Street, Clarke Street, Division Street, School Street, High Street, John Street, Franklin Street, Church Street, Pelham Street and others.
