Maya Ferris put together a dominant performance Saturday evening, qualifying for the state meet in all four events and posting the highest all-around score as Middletown hosted Rogers/East Providence and the North Kingstown/East Greenwich co-op at the Middletown YMCA.

Ferris scored a 35.2 all-around, taking first place in vault, beam and floor to lead Middletown’s individual efforts.

The North Kingstown/East Greenwich co-op won the meet with a team score of 128.95. Middletown finished second at 124.5, while Rogers/East Providence placed third with 96.5.

Several Middletown gymnasts punched their tickets to the state meet alongside Ferris. Stella Gray qualified on floor with a score of 8.3, while Adrianna Denny earned her spot on bars with an 8.0. Gianna Huber also qualified for states on bars, scoring 7.95.

Rogers/East Providence’s Catalina Schroder earned recognition with a 7.4 on floor, securing a coach’s invite to the state meet.
