Good morning from Houston, Texas! I’m writing this weekend’s On the Market article while attending the National Association of Realtors Conference, where I’m representing our community as the 2026 President of the Newport County Board of Realtors. Back home in Rhode Island, the Fall market is still very much in motion. More than 46 properties across Newport County and the East Bay will be opening their doors to the public this weekend, offering buyers an excellent chance to explore available inventory before the holiday season. While things are a little quieter in Jamestown, Middletown, and Little Compton, Newport, Portsmouth, and Tiverton have a full lineup of options worth exploring.
