The Newport Folk Festival continued rolling out its lineup for its 2025 event this week, announcing Kenny Loggins, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Union featuring Phil Cook “Harmony You Can Count On”, and Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners will be performing in Newport this July.

Set for July 25-27, the festival has already sold out but continues to reveal its performer list, with more names expected in the weeks ahead.

So far, Friday’s schedule includes Kenny Loggins, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Goose, Maren Morris, Tyler-James Kelly, Big Freedia, Geese, S.G. Goodman, Maggie Rose, Snacktime, Hannah Cohen, Jessica Pratt, Kevin Morby, MJ Lenderman, Kim Deal, Alex G, and The Deslondes.

Remi Wolf & Friends, Tyler Ballgame, Obongjayar, Lukas Nelson, Luke Combs, Flipturn, Bonny Light Horseman, Ken Pomeroy, Saya Gray, Dan Reeder, Illiterate Light, Iron & Wine, I’m With Her, Mon Rovîa, Jesse Welles, Julien Baker & Torres, and Waxahatchee are already lined up for Saturday.

Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners, The Union featuring Phil Cook “Harmony You Can Count On”, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jensen McRae, Nova One, Lucius, Tom Odell, Margo Price, Dehd, Sammy Rae & Friends, Stephen Wilson Jr., Hurray For The Riff Raff, Michael Kiwanuka, BCUC, Mt. Joy, and Jeff Tweedy are scheduled to perform on Sunday.

General admission tickets vanished within minutes on Feb. 5, even before any artists were announced.

The Newport Festivals Foundation is awarding grants on behalf of the announced performers.
