The 10th Annual Newport Night Run and Gray Matter Marketing has announced Grenon’s of Newport as the event’s new title sponsor for 2025.

Set to take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, proceeds from the event benefit the Newport Public Education Foundation. Since its inception, the Grenon’s Newport Night Run has helped the NPEF raise more than $161,000.

“As a Newport Public School graduate, I am honored that Gray Matter Marketing has played a role in bringing the community together for a fun annual event that benefits the students of Newport.,” says Matt Gray, President of Gray Matter Marketing, which produces the event. “This race is more than just a run; it’s an opportunity to connect with our neighbors, celebrate Newport, and make a lasting impact on local youth. We are proud to see how the Newport Night Run continues to grow and inspire participants year after year.”

The Grenon’s Newport Night Run is a 5K (3.1-mile) run or walk that starts and finishes at Rogers High School, beginning at 7:30 PM on Saturday, April 5th. The course showcases some of Newport’s most beautiful rural roads, including parts of Ocean Avenue and Hazard Road. Walkers and runners of all ages and paces are welcome to participate!
