Tiverton, RI – Family caregivers can get support and resources at a free “Prepare to Care” presentation hosted by AARP at the Tiverton Public Library (34 Roosevelt Avenue) on Saturday, November 16th at 2:00 pm.
The program is designed for individuals at all stages of the caregiving journey, from anticipating future needs to managing daily care. AARP will provide a framework for attendees to develop care plans for loved ones, and offer a platform for caregivers to connect, share advice, and learn about available resources.
The event is free and open to the public.

No matter where you are in the journey of family caregiving—just beginning to anticipate a need, helping coordinate a big move, or taking care of a family member full-time—having a good framework to help guide both you and your loved one will make the process easier. During this session, a representative from AARP will share a framework to help you make plans to care for friends, family members, or loved ones. You will have the opportunity to connect with other family caregivers, exchange tips and advice, and learn about resources available to you and your loved ones.
