Lila Delman Compass recently announced the sale of 121 Walcott Avenue in Jamestown for $7,000,000.

Cynthia Moretti of Lila Delman Compass’ Jamestown office represented the Seller in this transaction, and Stacie Mills and Mary Waddington of Vanderbilt International Properties represented the Buyer.

According to data maintained by the Rhode Island Statewide MLS, this home, closing at $600,000 over asking, marks the highest sale in Jamestown year to date, and the 5th highest sale ever in Jamestown.

The 10-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom home was designed by Charles L. Bevins, a Shingle Style architect who built many of the summer cottages in Jamestown at the end of the late 19th century. The house has deeded rights to the Cottrell Pier Association, which maintains a private beach, pavilion, and pier on the waterfront. It also comes with a 39,163 square foot lot.

“I’m grateful this lovely family trusted me to help them through the process of selling their beloved family home of 54 years with many treasured memories,” commented Cynthia Moretti, who served as the seller. “It was a joy to show, and I’m happy for the buyers to act as the next stewards of this special home.”
