If you’re looking for an opportunity to give your child a fun and engaging activity while also learning more about music, the Newport County Youth Chorus is offering a free event on Saturday, September 7.

The free event will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church at 200 Turner Road in Middletown. Children in grades 1 through 6 are welcome to attend.

During the event, Newport Sings staff will lead fun musical games and allow interested singers to learn more about the NCYC program. The NCYC offers free programs for students in grades 1 through 6.
