The Friends Of The Waterfront, New England Music Organization, and North End Entertainment will present an exciting Saturday afternoon filled with traditional Irish melodies and rhythms paired with stunning dance moves thanks to Kevin Doyle’s
Roscommon Soles at King Park on Saturday, August 31, from 4 pm to 6 pm.

Kevin Doyle, a longtime curator of traditional Irish music and dance, is the recipient of a National Heritage Fellowship in Irish Dance from the National Endowment for the Arts. Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, Doyle learned his first jigs and reels at the early age of eight from his Roscommon-born mother. With more than 50 years of dance under his feet, the tradition has taken him from an Obama White House performance to the prestigious Willie Clancy Summer School in County Clare, Ireland. He was a featured presenter and teacher at the school in 2015 and 2018, a rare encore for an American artist.
Kevin Doyle is a dynamic performer, choreographer, teacher, and producer of Roscommon Soles’ Irish Parlor Performing Arts Series. On Saturday Doyle will be joined by All Ireland Fiddle player Sheila Falls and All Ireland Flute player Josh Kane. This particular Roscommon Soles show will also feature two master musicians: Tim Keohane and Paul Kenneally of the great duo Keohane and Kenneally.
