The Friends Of The Waterfront, New England Music Organization, and North End Entertainment today announced that they will host a “thrilling evening” of original music with pop singer/songwriter and award-winning saxophonist Chase Ceglie at King Park in Newport on Friday, August 9, from 5 to 7 pm. Chase and his full pop band will perform his latest album, “Chaseland,” in its entirety, plus additional music from the group’s repertoire.

Chase Ceglie, based in Rhode Island, has built a dedicated fanbase as a performer, writer, producer, and educator. His pop journey began at Berklee College of Music with his debut album “Onion.” He has since released “Provisional Pop Songs,” “Fear and Love, Together…!,” and his latest album “Chaseland,” accompanied by a visual album created by Chase himself. Chase’s live shows are known for high energy and improvisation, blending catchy pop hooks with saxophone prowess. He also leads a jazz quartet and hosts the NEE Jam, an open jam session in Newport produced by North End Entertainment and the New England Music Organization.

Ceglie brings some of New England’s best musicians with him including Helena Rose on vocals, Bruno Peterson and Chris Vaillancourt on guitars, Jonathan Elyashiv on bass and Tim Lee on drums.
