The College of the Holy Cross has selected more than 1,600 students nationwide for its Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement during the spring 2023-24 academic year, including three local students.

The Dean’s List is a comprehensive list of students who have demonstrated academic excellence and demonstrated leadership, integrity, and a commitment to service to their community and country.

The following local students made the list:

– Scott Carter of Tiverton, Class of 2026

– Caryn Leigh Comerford of Portsmouth, Class of 2026

– Diane McDonough of Portsmouth, Class of 2024

The College of the Holy Cross is a four-year, exclusively undergraduate college with 3,200 students. It offers a rigorous, personalized education in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition.

Graduates of the College of the Holy Cross have distinguished themselves as thoughtful leaders in business, professional, and civic life, according to a news release.
