Set your DVR (or whatever you record shows with these days) as Newport will be the focus of “Best Bite In Town” on the Food Network on Friday, May 24.

Executive Producer Guy Fieri has called upon his pal Noah Cappe to help find the “Best Bite In Town” in this new Food Network series, which premiered on Friday, April 12.

In each episode of “Best Bite in Town”, Noah assembles a Bite Club featuring two chefs, including Tiffani Faison, Shota Nakajima, Joe Sasto, Aarti Sequeira and Jet Tila. Together, they explore the local food scene in cities across the country, visiting six of the most popular spots in each one. After scouring the town and tasting a wide variety of cuisines, Noah and the Bite Club nominate three exceptional dishes to present to a panel of esteemed culinary judges to determine the Best Bite In Town.

About the Newport episode, Food Network shares on its website, “Guy Fieri challenges Noah Cappe to travel to Newport, Rhode Island, with celebrity chefs Tiffani Faison and Shota Nakajima. Once in town, they check out the culinary scene to see which restaurants have the best food. They’ll taste everything from chowder and noodles to burgers and biscuits in the hunt for what they think is the most amazing dish”.

Yagi Noodles confirmed recently on Instagram that they are among the restaurants appearing on the show.

Season 1, Episode 8 (Newport) debuts on the Food Network on Friday, May 24 at 9 pm. It will air again on Saturday, May 25 at 12 am, and on Sunday, May 26 at 2 pm.
