Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty today announced the sale of 0 Paquins Lane, Portsmouth for $3,100,000.

Holly Prentice represented the sellers, and the buyers were represented by The Soby Fox Team, which is represented by all sales associates of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.

According to data from the Multiple Listing Service, this marks the highest vacant land sale since 2021 and the second-highest vacant land sale on record in Portsmouth.

Located on over 24 acres, this pastoral land has views across the west passage of Narragansett Bay and beyond.

In Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty original press release titled, “Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty Announces Land Trust Acquisition Marking the 2nd Highest Vacant Land Sale on Record in Portsmouth”, at 10:34 am on Friday, April 5, they said in part;

Used as a family farm since 1964, the current buyers have donated the land to the Aquidneck Land Trust where it will remain undeveloped in perpetuity.

At 2:38 pm on Friday, April 5, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty followed up with a corrected press release titled, “Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty Announces Land Trust Acquisition Marking the 2nd Highest Vacant Land Sale on Record in Portsmouth”, saying in part;

Used as a family farm since 1964, the new buyers and Aquidneck Land Trust hope to work together to protect the land in perpetuity and keep it in farming via a conservation easement. The buyers and the land trust hope a deal can be finalized later in the summer.

At 4:39 pm on Friday, April 5, Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty followed up with a corrected press release titled, “Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty Announces the Second Highest Vacant Land Sale on Record in Portsmouth, Future Land Trust Conservation Easement”, saying in part;

Used as a family farm since 1964, the new buyers and Aquidneck Land Trust hope to work together to protect the land in perpetuity and keep it in farming via a conservation easement. The buyers and the land trust hope a deal can be finalized later in the summer.
