The Rhode Island Lottery is eagerly awaiting the arrival of a $1,000,000 Mega Millions winner to come forward to claim the prize.

The winning ticket for the February 2 drawing was sold at Stop & Shop at 605 Metacom Ave. in Bristol. The ticket matched all five numbers, but not the Mega Ball number, bringing in the standard payout of $1 million. The winner did not purchase the Megaplier feature, which would have multiplied the prize by 3, increasing it to $3 million.

An additional $10,000 was won by a man from Johnston who bought a ticket for the February 6 drawing at Shop N Go at 237 Greenville Ave. in Johnston.

The Mega Millions jackpot is currently at $394 million, and the lottery is hopeful that the $1 million winner will emerge soon.

In addition to the two Mega Millions winners, a man from Providence also recently won $30,000 while playing the “Sonic Multiplier” Instant Game at Quick Fuel. A woman from Coventry also won $10,000 after she gave her sister a winning ticket to the “High Roller” Instant Game at Alltown Warwick.
