Newport Historical Society Discover Colonial Newport Walking Tour, 10:30 a.m.. Touro Synagogue 255th Anniversary Open House, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, 72 Touro St. Join us for an open house to celebrate the 255th anniversary of the dedication of Touro Synagogue. On December 2nd, 1763 Touro Synagogue opened it’s doors to the community and we are doing it again on December 2nd, 2018. See the magnificent interior of the synagogue, explore the exhibits at our visitors center and enjoy cookies and cider on the patio. This event is free and open to the public.
