HopeHealth, a leading hospice, palliative care and visiting nurse provider in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, has announced the expansion of their leadership team with three new additions: Addy Kane, chief financial operator; Diana Zapata, chief growth and marketing officer, and; Rosemarie Gallo, controller. The expanded leadership team aims to support growth in HopeHealth’s hospice, palliative and visiting nurse programs.

“HopeHealth has touched the lives of many patients’ and families across Rhode Island and Massachusetts,” said Diana Franchitto, president and CEO of HopeHealth in a press release today. “In order to support this growth, we are pleased to announce these additions to our leadership team. We are confident that they will be leaders in their areas of expertise, and we’re excited to welcome them to HopeHealth.”

Addy Kane of Lincoln has been appointed chief financial officer, where she will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, management, and control of the financial-related activities of HopeHealth. She will report directly to Franchitto. Kane was previously senior vice president of financial operations at Prospect Chartercare Health Partners, where she held several senior level positions since 2002. Prior to this, she succeeded in several positions at CVS Corporation. Kane received her master’s in business administration from Providence College, and her bachelor’s of science degree in accounting at Bryant University.

Diana Zapata of Sharon has joined HopeHealth as their chief growth and marketing officer, where her responsibilities will include development and implementation of growth and marketing strategies at the organization. Zapata was formerly the director of marketing at Boston Children Hospital. Prior to this, she was principal at Marketing Partners, Inc., and also served in several positions at Johnson & Johnson. She received her master’s in business administration from Babson College, and her bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Rosemarie Gallo of West Warwick has been appointed controller of HopeHealth, where she will be responsible for the financial operations – managing the functions and activities of accounting/general finance, financial reporting, accounts payable, and payroll. Gallo joins HopeHealth from the State of Rhode Island’s Department of Health, where she was the assistant administrator of financial management. Prior to this, she was the corporate accounting manager at Prospect CharterCARE Health Partners, and also served as controller for several other local companies. She received her bachelor’s of science degree in accounting at Johnson & Wales University, Providence.

“These dynamic leaders will bring their diverse experiences and expertise together to help create an unstoppable leadership team,” said Franchitto in the release. “Their guidance will enable HopeHealth to flourish and build upon our strong mission of service to the community.”
