The second Hogan Associates “Music on the Porch” concert at the Eisenhower House in Fort Adams State Park will be on Thursday, July 19th from 5-7 PM.  The free concerts will feature the Lois Vaughan Quintet with special performances from guitarist and singer Paul Williams.  Concert guests can also partake in refreshments from Newport Storm Breweries and special cuisine from Blackstone Caterers’ A Fork in the Road food truck. The concert is for all ages and children can play on the Eisenhower House lawn as parents enjoy the music.  The next concert will be on August 16th .

“The first concert of the summer season held on June 21st with the United States Navy Band’s Rhode Island Sound was a tremendous success with over 200 attendees, “stated Matt Hadfield of Newport and Middletown based Hogan Associates in a press release issued from Fort Adams Trust. “Lois Vaughan is a favorite in Rhode Island and with the other band members it should prove to be another fantastic event that Hogan Associates is more than happy to present,” Hadfield added.

“Now in its second year, the Music on the Porch series continues to provide family entertainment for everyone to enjoy,” said Jen Chapin, Director of Events for the Fort Adams Trust. “We like to feature music from locally renowned artists that have a great following and further complement the evening experience with excellent picnic fare from the Trust’s partners’ A Fork in the Road food truck and Newport Storm Breweries,” Chapin further stated in the release.
