The City Of Newport has announced Hi-Way Safety Systems, Inc. will be re-striping the pavement markings of crosswalks, parking stalls, and symbols on the following roads from Monday, September 14th through Wednesday, September 16th:

  • Thames Street from America’s Cup Avenue to Morton Avenue
  • Spring Street from Morton Avenue to Memorial Boulevard
  • Spring Street from Touro Street to Bull Street
  • Washington Square including Touro Street

Work will begin Monday night and there will be a PARKING BAN in effect from Tuesday September 15, 2015 at 8:00 PM to Wednesday morning September 16, 2015 at 5:00 AM. Any vehicles parked in the above locations will be towed.
