Portsmouth Fire Department responded to Hinckley Marina in the early dawn hours on Monday, September 14th for a report of two sailboats on fire.

According to reports around 5:45 a.m.; Portsmouth Fire discovered a 60 foot and a 40 foot sailboat on fire, mutual aid from surrounding towns and marine assets responded to the scene.

According to Newport Patch; the fire also included a power boat and two of the boats could not be saved and sank.
