Newport City Limits Magazine and Big Cat Blues band will host a tribute and celebration of life for Joe Martins on September 13th at the Newport Blues Cafe.
The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature live music, stories and more. The event is open to the public.

Joe Martins was a saxophonist for Triple Threat and at one time or another also played with Soul Ambition, The New York Minute, Merge, Big Cat Blues and James Montgomery Band.
