Military tour of Island Cemetery

For centuries, cemeteries have been places to honor the men and women in the military who served the country. Many died in battle perhaps at a young age and other were able to live a long life in the community after their service ended. This tour does not include every person who served and is buried in Island Cemetery but a selection of these men and women.

The number of participants for in-person tours is limited. Reserve your place by email to islandcemeterytours@gmail.com. Donations of $15 per person per tour are requested to the Friends of the Island Cemetery. All tours take place on Sunday at noon.
