Kite-Making Day!

On Sunday, May 28 from 12 – 3 pm, teaching artist Karen Dolmanisth and Out of the Box Studio artists will be hosting this drop-in kite making workshop in preparation for the annual Kite Flying Day at Historic New England’s Watson Farm the following Saturday, June 3. Free to the public, visitors are invited to explore the principles of aerodynamics and visual art as they learn to create kites that can fly in the sky, while also being beautiful. A variety of shapes and sizes will be demonstrated, and creative experimentation is encouraged! All materials will be provided. This is a family friendly event that is open to all ages. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
