Jaws Summer Party is now a 2-day Celebration with two nights of Jaws screenings and activities.

Tuesday July 23rd: 

~ Live Music by The Z-Boys at 6:30 pm 
~ Film at 7:30 pm
Narragansett Beer+ What’s Up Newp will be hosting an after party immediately after the screening of Jaws at Brick Alley Pub! We’l be buying the first 50 folks thru the door a Gansett and we’ll have swag, games, and more! Event begins at 10 pm.

Wednesday July 24th: 

~ Live Music by The Teledynes at 6:30 pm 
~ Film at 7:30 pm

Both Nights:

~ Narragansett Beer will be joining us both nights. Stop by their table and win some swag, or buy some exclusive Jaws + Gansett Swag.

Clean Ocean Access will be joining us once again for our annual screening of Jaws! Stop by and check out their table in the lobby either night and learn about how you can help them keep our oceans clean for sharks, and other creatures!

Save The Bay – Narragansett Bay’s Exploration Center and Aquarium will be on hand to share what they are doing to protect and improve Narragansett Bay and the sharks (other creatures too) that live here by bringing their traveling touch tank where movie goers will be able to experience live animals all from our local waters. They will even be handing out coupons to visit their aquarium on first beach!

~ Enjoy the “Crush It Like Quinn” Narragansett Beer Experience on both nights.

Ryan Belmore is the Publisher of What'sUpNewp. 
Belmore has been involved with What’sUpNewp since shortly after its launch in 2012, proudly leading it to be named Best Local News Blog in Rhode Island by Rhode Island Monthly readers in 2018, 2019, and 2020 and an honorable mention in the Common Good Awards in 2021.

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Belmore graduated from Coventry High School and the Community College of Rhode Island. In addition to living in Newport for 10 years, he has lived in Portsmouth, Coventry, Providence, Smithfield, Burrillville, and East Greenwich.

Belmore currently serves as Vice President of the Board Of Directors for Fort Adams Trust and on the Board of Directors for Potter League For Animals. He previously served on the Board of Lucy's Hearth and the Arts & Cultural Alliance for Newport County.
