Seafair mansion has a buyer, reportedly under contract

The iconic Seafair mansion, which is currently listed for $17.5 million, is actively under contract, according to Realtor.com.

The iconic Seafair, which is located on 9 acres at 254 Ocean Avenue, is currently Newport’s highest-priced residential listing and has been an active listing on realtor.com for 189 days. The property, which is brokered by Gustave White Sotheby’s Int’l Realty and presented by Paul Leys, was changed from an “active” listing to a “pending” listing this week.

Multiple sources have told What’sUpNewp that Jay Leno could be the buyer. Over the last few weeks, Leno has appeared multiple times in Newport – at the Audrain Automobile Museum and has been spotted at Fort Adams State Park, along Thames Street and at Pasta Beach.
