Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty has announced that 9 Kempton Place in Little Compton has sold for $2,595,000.

The buyers were represented by Liz Kinnane of Country and Coastal Properties.

One of the last surviving “Watch Houses” in Little Compton, this historic home was built in 1942 by the government to watch for submarines during World War II. Located on the southern tip of Warren’s Point, 9 Kempton Place offers four bedrooms and two bathrooms and expansive ocean views.

According to Arnold, “9 Kempton Place is one of Little Compton’s most beautiful ocean-side properties, with stunning 180-degree ocean views stretching east to the Cape and Islands and west to the Sakonnet Light House. Located on idyllic Warrens Point, it is just steps the Warrens Point Beach Club, as well as surfing, fishing and endless ocean activities.”

A Rhode Island native, Arnold grew up on the East Side of Providence and in Little Compton and possesses a deep knowledge of the unique features of Rhode Island’s East Bay and greater Providence area. With over five million in sales in 2016, Cherry was awarded the Silver Circle of Excellence by the Greater Providence Board of Realtors.

“Our presence in the Little Compton real estate market continues to gain strength and we are pleased with the addition of 9 Kempton Place to our list of successful closings in the municipality,” adds Judy Chace, Broker/Co-Owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty.

Ray Mott, Broker Co-Owner of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty states, “Cherry’s impact as a Realtor in Little Compton continues to impress us; specifically, in the million-plus market.”
