Jenkins Construction presents a FREE concert by The Toe Jam Puppet Band on Wednesday, July 26thth at Ballard Park from 10 to 11 am in the quarry meadow.
Celebrating their eleventh appearance at Ballard Park, the Toe Jam Puppet Band encourages kids and parents to sing and dance along with the band as they entertain with a unique combination of original songs, shadow puppetry and storytelling.
All of the Jenkins Construction Music Month concerts will be held in Ballard Park’s quarry meadow. Enter at 21 Hazard Road. Seating for all concerts is on the grass so event goers are advised to bring a blanket or lawn chair on which to sit. There is rugged terrain so sturdy shoes are also recommend. Please note it is a fifteen minute walk into the quarry meadow.
Picnic dinners are welcome. Please follow the ‘pack it in, pack it out’ rule. Parking is available on Hazard Road. Smoking is prohibited in Ballard Park.
Jenkins Construction’s Music Month is one of a series of free events held at Ballard Park this summer. The series is also sponsored by AARP Rhode Island, Kiki Finn, Nina Bestoso Poanessa and Ken and Tia Scigulinksy with support from KVH Industries, Salve Regina University, TJ Brown Landscape and Turner Scott.
