This is another of The Preservation Society of Newport County’s Cultural Connections Series, a round of monthly informal presentations by the directors of some of our sister organizations in Rhode Island. This will be a one-hour meet-and-greet, in which Laurence Cutler, Chairman & CEO; Judy Cutler, Museum Director & Curator of National Museum of American Illustration (NMAI) will explore the history of the NMAI and highlight some of their important events and programs. The National Museum of American Illustration was founded in 1998 by Judy Goffman Cutler and Laurence S. Cutler to house their collection of primarily “Golden Age” American Illustration art, yet the museum also exhibits American illustration from all periods, styles and talents.

Admission is free, but seating is limited and advance registration required either online at http://www.newportmansions.org/learn/lectures or by phone 401-847-1851
