One of the things we strive to do here at The Wharf Pub is to carry as many local beers as possible.
It seems every time we turn around there is a new brewery opening in New England. If you’ve been in Providence and Pawtucket lately you can clearly see that the food and beer scene has arrived. From places like Julian’s to Ogie’s Trailer Park for great food and close by you’ll find Long Live Beer Works and of course our good friends at Foolproof Brewing Company in Pawtucket.
Within the next week we have some great local brews coming down the pipeline, here is what we will be offering at the Wharf Pub:
Foolproof Barstool – 4.5% ABV Known as their flagship beer, Barstool is a Czech style pilsner brewed with English and Czech style hop with Pilsner malts giving it a crisp clean finish.
Foolproof Shuckolate – 6.0% ABV Just in time for Valentine’s Day Shuckolate is back! An oyster chocolate stout in collaboration with Walrus & Carpenter’s Oysters and Garrison Chocolate’s right out of Pawtucket. Also, don’t miss Foolproof’s Second Annual Shuckolate Soiree that takes place on February 11th!
Bucket Brewing Black Goat in the Woods – 6.5% Bucket’s Irish Milk Stout has come back for a limited time that is balanced with cinnamon and ginger with a silk finish.
Bucket Prudence and Patience Rosechip Gose – 4.5% ABV Sours are all the rage these days. Bucket now has their Gose available year round. This wheat ale is salty and sweet and perfect for an afternoon delight.
