Welp, it’s that romantic time of year again – Valentine’s Day! What better way to celebrate with your significant other than with good craft beer or a delicious libation?
Every year we at The Wharf Pub like to spice things up by bringing you a crafty valentine themed beer selection and for the people who don’t drink beer, a special libation to pair with our house made desserts.
This weekend at the Pub we will be offering a special beer flight to pair with our house made desserts.
The Lovers Dream Flight at the Wharf Pub
1 – Alesmith My Bloody Valentine 6.66% ABV – Made especially for Single Awareness Day, This red ale has notes of caramel, chocolate, with floral hop aromas. Grab your friends and a pint!
2 – Foolproof Shuckolate 6.0% ABV – Back by popular demand, Foolproof’s Chocolate Oyster Stout is back just in time for Valentine’s day. In collaboration with Garrison Chocolates and Walrus & Carpenter Oysters this stout has a briny finish. Don’t miss the 2nd annual Shuckolate Soiree at the brewery this Saturday at 7pm.
3 – Stone Enjoy By 2.14.17 9.4% ABV – The “Enjoy By” series welcomes a flirtatiously delicious unfiltered IPA for the love birds. It is Stone’s newest IPA with added coffee and chocolate.
Other recommendations we love at the Wharf Pub for Valentines Day
1 – Lindeman’s Framboise Lambic 2.5% ABV – Not a hop fan? Framboise is the perfect beverage to sip on especially after dinner. Fermented with Raspberries, this beer also compliments wine drinkers.
2 – Green Flash Passion Fruit Kicker 5.5% ABV – Sweet & Tart ale brewed with passion fruit giving it an extra kick on the end.
3 – Ballast Point Red Velvet on Nitro 5.5% ABV – Ballast’s newest offering (tastes just like Red Velvet Cake!), Red Velvet is a Golden Oatmeal Stout brewed with beets and chocolate. Finishes just like dessert, just not as sweet.
