A1 Roofing and Construction located on Bliss Road in Newport donated more than 60 turkeys to the Marcus Wheatland Avenue based Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center to help those in need celebrate a Happy Thanksgiving. This was the fifth year A1 has donated to the Community Center as part of the company’s efforts to be community oriented and lead by encouraging other local organizations to give back.
“A1 has always been focused on providing for those in need,” stated A1 Roofing & Construction owner, Sean Napolitano. “Whether it is through our No Roof Left Behind annual contribution to the community or to the MLK Center, every one of our employees wants to provide shelter and sustenance especially during the Holidays. It’s about warmth & family and all of us at A1 are more than happy to help make that happen,” Napolitano added.
“A1 has been a traditional donor to the MLK Center and we are so much appreciative of their continued generosity over the years,” said Heather Strout, Assistant Executive Director for the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. “Through community minded organizations like A1, we were able to offer meals to over 350 families and 1,000 individuals during our Thanksgiving food distribution program. A1’s contribution is integral to our programs’ success,” she further offered.
