Ahead of the kick-off of the kick-off of their annual summer series, newportFILM Outdoors, What’sUpNewp caught up with newportFILM to get a preview of all that’s ahead for the non-profit organization this summer.

More than a film festival, newportFILM Outdoors makes each film its own festival. At these events, you’ll experience award-winning documentaries, live music, interviews with filmmakers and subjects, fabulous food, and more.

The sunset screenings kick off on June 21st and run through September 6th, with weekly Thursday night events, all are free of charge. This marks the series’ 9th summer season of hosting screenings at various outdoor picturesque locations in and around Newport.

Enjoy!
